British Ladies Society (BLS)

 

Founded in 1993, the British Ladies Society provides British ladies living in Kuwait the opportunity to meet one another, form lasting friendships and learn more about the culture and customs of Kuwait.  The BLS also invites women from other countries to join the Society through the Associate Membership programme.

The BLS hosts weekly coffee mornings, Mums & Tots sessions, monthly evening dinner meetings, and an active book club.  They organise excursions to places of interest around Kuwait as well as a variety of family-oriented events.   They hold special seasonal festivities such as the annual Christmas bazaar and dinner as well as many  events that vary from year to year.

ARABIC COURSE @ TIES Center

 

TIES Center is glad to announce the beginning of the classes for Arabic Course 3/2011 . They offer classes for all levels, from beginners to advance level. The classes are tailored to meet the needs and the requirement of the students.  

TIES Arabic classes are intended for all expatriates who wish to learn Arabic for whatever purpose, be it for business purposes, basic communication, as a second language or simply as a hobby.  At TIES Center, the Arabic classes are designed to meet these requirements. 

Throughout the course the students will learn how to read, write and speak Arabic in a friendly, relaxed and welcoming environment.
